Ping Identity is seeking a Product Manager for Developer Experience to own the product strategy and roadmap for the company's Orchestration SDK across Web, iOS, Android, and hybrid frameworks. You will champion the developer experience by making complex identity and access management (IAM) capabilities intuitive and accessible to engineers building on Ping's platform.
Key responsibilities include driving developer adoption of SDKs and APIs, partnering with technical documentation and developer relations teams to deliver world-class guides and sample applications, and working cross-functionally with engineering teams to ensure seamless exposure of new identity capabilities. You will actively engage with customers, partner engineers, and the open-source community to gather technical requirements and translate feedback into a prioritized product backlog.
You will evangelize the product through technical blog posts, developer forums, and content highlighting SDK capabilities and modern integration patterns. The role requires managing the full product lifecycle from concept to release, maintaining a groomed backlog, defining success metrics (SDK adoption, integration time), and ruthlessly prioritizing high-impact work.
A key differentiator is your focus on both human and agent-first engineering—ensuring SDKs and tooling are optimized not just for human developers but also for autonomous AI agents and code assistants executing end-to-end integration workflows. You will stay ahead of evolving app development trends (Swift/Kotlin, Flutter, React Native) and next-generation identity standards, while continuously assessing how to improve Ping's developer experience holistically.
You bring a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience with hands-on software development. You have solid understanding of modern identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, FIDO/WebAuthn) and strong developer empathy—understanding what makes APIs intuitive, libraries reliable, and documentation genuinely useful. You speak the language of developers and can bridge the gap between deep identity architecture and elegant code.
