Ping Identity is seeking a Product Manager for Developer Experience to own the product strategy and roadmap for the company's Orchestration SDK across Web, iOS, Android, and hybrid frameworks. You will champion the developer experience by making complex identity and access management (IAM) capabilities intuitive and seamless for engineers building on Ping's platform.
Key responsibilities include driving developer adoption of SDKs and APIs, partnering with technical documentation and developer relations teams to deliver world-class guides and sample applications, and working cross-functionally with core engineering teams to ensure SDKs expose new identity capabilities aligned with platform releases. You will actively engage with customers, partner engineers, and the open-source community to gather technical requirements, map developer journeys, and translate feedback into a prioritized product backlog.
You will evangelize the product through technical blog posts, developer forums, and content highlighting SDK capabilities and modern integration patterns. You'll manage the full product lifecycle from concept to release, maintaining a groomed backlog, defining success metrics (SDK adoption, integration time), and ruthlessly prioritizing high-impact work. The role includes staying ahead of evolving app development trends such as Swift/Kotlin updates, cross-platform frameworks like Flutter and React Native, and next-generation identity standards.
A unique aspect of this role is incorporating an AI-focused mindset—making mobile and web app integration more effective by staying ahead on AI-related trends such as agent skills and understanding how developer experience relates to both human developers and autonomous AI agents executing integration workflows.
You bring a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience with hands-on software development. You have solid understanding of modern identity protocols including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and FIDO/WebAuthn. Strong developer empathy, keen product sense for clean code and developer ergonomics, and the ability to understand what makes APIs intuitive, libraries reliable, and documentation genuinely useful are essential.
