Addepar is a global data and AI platform serving 1,400+ investment firms managing nearly $9 trillion in assets. The company unifies portfolio, market, and client data to deliver AI-powered insights within investment workflows, with offices across nine major cities worldwide. You will own the product roadmap for the Developer Experience, CI, and CD teams within Addepar's internal Developer Platform organization. This is a foundational role defining and driving the tools every engineer at Addepar uses to build, test, and ship code—including the developer portal (Backstage), golden paths and service scaffolding, shared application frameworks, micro-frontend infrastructure, CI pipelines, build and test infrastructure, artifact management, and deployment automation. Key responsibilities include: - Owning and evolving the product roadmap spanning developer portal, service scaffolding, shared frameworks, CI pipeline templates, test infrastructure, artifact management, and deployment tooling - Partnering with engineering leads to translate platform strategy into scoped, sequenced roadmaps with clear ownership - Defining and tracking adoption metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, MTTR, developer satisfaction) to prioritize investment - Driving the self-service agenda by making golden paths and deployment the default way engineers ship, reducing manual platform tickets - Gathering and synthesizing feedback from engineering teams across the organization to identify friction points and roadmap priorities - Representing the roadmap to platform leadership, product stakeholders, and cross-functional partners; communicating tradeoffs and progress - Monitoring industry trends in developer platforms, CI/CD tooling, and internal developer portals to inform build-vs-buy decisions You bring prior product management experience owning developer-facing or platform products (internal tooling, CI/CD, developer portals, infrastructure platforms). You have demonstrated ability to define and ship product roadmaps in technical, engineering-facing domains, translating ambiguous developer pain points into scoped, prioritized work. You possess working technical fluency with CI/CD concepts and tooling (pipelines, build/test automation, artifact management, deployment strategies) sufficient for credible conversations with engineers and informed prioritization. You have experience helping engineering teams prioritize features for shared application frameworks—such as service chassis libraries, micro-frontend scaffolding, or shared middleware—balancing individual team needs against platform-wide consistency and adoption.
