Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling users to trade on real-world outcomes across politics, economics, sports, and current affairs. The platform generated $21B in trading volume in 2025 and is positioned as an alternative news source reflecting collective market expectations. As the first dedicated Product Manager for Data Products, you will own the strategy and execution of packaging Polymarket's unique dataset—real-money probability signals across thousands of events—into commercial products for institutional clients. You'll work within the Data team while partnering closely with liquidity, sales, and engineering to identify, build, and scale data products that hedge funds, quant firms, and other institutional buyers will pay for. Key responsibilities include: defining and prioritizing the data product roadmap in partnership with engineering; working directly with institutional clients to understand needs and scope custom datasets; joining client calls and helping structure deals alongside the sales and liquidity teams; owning end-to-end delivery of external APIs, data feeds, and custom datasets; designing pricing models that reflect commercial value; identifying opportunities to build derived signals on top of raw market data; and gathering post-launch feedback to inform future roadmap decisions. You'll be hands-on from day one—not writing specs in isolation but actively involved in client conversations, engineering standups, and commercial negotiations. This role requires someone who can translate raw data into packaged products, understand what institutional buyers actually need, and drive delivery across technical and commercial teams. Ideal candidates have demonstrated experience packaging raw data into commercial products that external clients paid for (not internal tools), direct experience with institutional clients such as hedge funds or quant shops, strong technical fluency with data infrastructure and API architecture, a track record of shipping external-facing data products, and experience working alongside sales or partnerships teams to scope and close deals. Bonus experience includes familiarity with financial market data products, alternative data vendors, data licensing agreements, or prediction/betting markets.
