aPriori is seeking a Product Manager for Data Platform to define and execute the roadmap for the data infrastructure and AI framework powering its manufacturing software products. This is a senior individual contributor role bridging technical depth and business strategy.
Key responsibilities span three interconnected areas:
**Cloud Data Platform:** Own the product roadmap for data management strategy, including data services, performance, cost optimization, and availability. Partner with data engineering to ensure the platform reliably serves both real-time analytical workloads and AI/ML feature pipelines. Define data quality standards, SLAs, and observability requirements; champion a culture of trustworthy data across the organization.
**Analytics & Business Intelligence:** Drive the vision for aPriori's analytics layer, ensuring dashboards and data products can be built repeatably and with ease. Oversee the analytics data model as a governed, reusable semantic layer, balancing self-service flexibility with data integrity. Stay current on AI-assisted analytics capabilities and evaluate how they extend the platform's analytics experience.
**AI Framework & Agentic Workflows:** Own the product roadmap for core services and frameworks supporting AI-powered apps and agents. Collaborate with engineering and data science to build prompt pipelines, context engineering strategies, and model evaluation frameworks. Define guardrails, responsible AI requirements, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints ensuring AI outputs are safe and auditable. Define requirements for orchestration layers, agentic workflow reliability, and cost efficiency.
Required qualifications include strong SQL skills, 3+ years of product management experience (1–2 years with data platform or infrastructure products), familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery), hands-on BI/analytics platform experience, and working knowledge of LLMs, RAG architecture, and agentic AI patterns. Background in manufacturing, cost engineering, or industrial software is a plus.
