Genomics is a science-led transatlantic TechBio combining large-scale genetic and health data with proprietary analytics to accelerate drug discovery and advance predictive, preventative healthcare. The company operates two core business lines: supercharging drug discovery through an AI-enabled advanced genetic analytics platform, and helping individuals understand their personal risk of chronic diseases via polygenic risk scores.
As Product Manager for Data and Analytics on Mystra (the company's scientific data platform), you will serve as the bridge between strategic vision and execution. Your core responsibilities include:
- Breaking down strategic initiatives into 2–4 well-scoped epics and features, documenting the reasoning behind every boundary
- Creating and maintaining living "context documents" that capture user workflows, personas, edge cases, and constraints for your delivery team
- Collaborating with Scientific Subject Matter Experts to ensure requirements are scientifically sound
- Working with Data Services to understand data ingestion capabilities and architectural constraints
- Partnering with Engineering, Design, and User Research to validate feasibility, coherence, and grounding in real customer need
- Running delivery kick-offs and bi-weekly check-ins, making clear prioritization calls to keep the team moving
- Identifying recurring ambiguities and feeding insights back to the Director of Product Management
You will own the transition from discovery to delivery, ensuring that "done" means scientifically valid, technically sound, and tested against criteria that matter to expert users.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluency with genomic data is essential. You must be able to read GWAS papers, understand p-values, think about effect sizes and population diversity, and recognize the data and analytics needs of statistical geneticists.
- Proven experience in product management or product ownership, including writing strong requirements, working across functions, and weighing trade-offs.
- Ability to define features with clear "done" criteria while leaving story-level detail to the delivery team.
- Decisiveness and an execution mindset; you make calls and keep the team moving without becoming a bottleneck.
- Clear, direct communication (written and spoken) with engineers, scientists, designers, and product leadership.
