Teya is a Series C fintech platform serving local businesses across Europe with financial services tools, payments, and business management solutions. You'll own the customer onboarding funnel end-to-end—the critical journey that converts signed merchants into active, transacting members.
Your core responsibilities: Drive first-pass approval rates by eliminating document friction and manual escalation bottlenecks. Own the onboarding roadmap and metrics (approval rate, activation, time-to-activate), identifying funnel leaks and building business cases for improvements. Partner across Sales, Risk, Engineering, and Design to ship fast, simple, reliable onboarding experiences across Teya's European markets (UK, Iceland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia).
You'll operate as the directly responsible individual for this conversion-critical flow. Day-to-day work includes building and maintaining funnel dashboards in analytics tools, pulling your own data (SQL or self-serve), and turning insights into prioritized actions. You'll use AI as a core workflow tool—Claude, Glean, and custom automations—to find drop-off patterns, draft requirements, and move faster.
The Sales Platform team you'll join owns customer acquisition, onboarding, sales CRM, pricing, and dialler systems. The team serves multiple sales channels (field, inside, ISCs, resellers, self-serve) across Europe and moves quickly with modern tooling.
Ideal background: 3–5 years in product, ideally on onboarding, activation, or conversion-sensitive flows. You've built funnel dashboards, owned metrics and moved them, and can articulate what worked and what you'd do differently. You're comfortable with data, can work across complex stakeholder groups without hand-holding, and thrive in ambiguity. Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated environments (KYC, identity, compliance) is a strong signal. You're genuinely capable with AI tooling—you've used Claude or ChatGPT in your work and are excited to build agentic workflows. You prefer simple over clever, can strip messy requirements to first principles, and ship-and-iterate over perfection. You're commercially literate and can connect activation lifts to revenue impact.
Work location: onsite from London (House of Teya, Blackfriars Bridge) or Porto office.
