OpenFX is building infrastructure to move money as freely as data across borders, unrestricted by time zones or legacy systems. The company powers next-generation cross-border payment systems for institutions using stablecoin-settled FX infrastructure. Backed by Accel, Lightspeed, and NfX, the team includes veterans from JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, FalconX, PayPal, Affirm, and Kraken. You will own currency expansion across Europe as a senior product manager. Your mandate is to scale aggressively: source liquidity providers, stand up settlement rails with banking partners, navigate jurisdiction-specific compliance, and ensure reliability. You run your regional currency roadmap with independence, set pricing for new pairs, and prioritize engineering effort. You report to the PM for Payments & Currencies, who sets strategic direction; you own execution and timing. Key responsibilities include: **Corridor Launch Ownership**: Own every currency from alpha through general availability. Track liquidity partner onboarding, settlement rail readiness, compliance clearance, and operational setup. Run readiness reviews and make go/no-go launch decisions. **Engineering Prioritization**: Work with engineers to deliver against your roadmap. Write specs, set sprint priorities, and partner with engineering managers to allocate capacity to highest-impact currencies. **Partner & Banking Relationships**: Serve as the product voice in liquidity provider onboarding and banking partner discussions. Understand technical requirements for new currency pairs, what banking partners need for settlement, and translate constraints into product decisions. Run pricing experiments to drive volume. **Regulatory Navigation**: Each currency carries jurisdiction-specific compliance requirements across the UK, EU, and broader European markets. Work with Legal and Regulatory to understand requirements, translate them into engineering and product decisions, and ensure no currency launches without clearance. **Post-Launch Adoption**: Track whether clients are trading new corridors post-launch. Partner with GTM to drive activation, identify friction points, and feed insights back into prioritization. Ideal candidates have shipped cross-border payment products, worked with banking or card network infrastructure, or built API-driven financial products across jurisdictions. Experience with stablecoin infrastructure or frontier payment rails is a plus.
