Fluidstack is building civilization-scale compute infrastructure for AI, focused on deploying gigawatt-scale AI compute faster than anyone else. The Compute Production team owns the data foundations and internal products that enable this mission—turning fragmented operational data across tools, spreadsheets, and teams into a unified source of truth.
As Product Manager for Compute Operations, you will own the product direction for the team's ontology and data products serving compute production. Your responsibilities include defining the roadmap, priorities, and success metrics; turning messy compute production domains into clear data models, specs, and product surfaces that engineers can ship against; driving technical tradeoffs with engineers end-to-end from problem definition through delivery; running direct discovery with compute production stakeholders to validate that your solutions actually change how they work; and defining metrics that prove the product delivers real leverage.
Key problems the team tackles include building an ontology that models compute production end-to-end (hardware, networks, operational workflows), consolidating fragmented operational data into a single source of truth, shipping product surfaces that reduce manual handoffs and accelerate diagnosis, and applying LLM-era tooling to replace repetitive human effort with structured data and automation.
You should have 3+ years of technical product management experience, ideally on data, platform, or ontology products. You need a track record of shipping products with measurable impact and the numbers to prove it. You can reason about system design and hold your own with engineers on technical tradeoffs. Strong written communication is essential—crisp specs and prioritization rationale sharp enough that stakeholders who disagree still understand your reasoning. You're comfortable in ambiguity and know how to impose structure where none exists. Bonus experience includes exposure to compute or datacenter operations, infrastructure systems, or building LLM-powered applications.
