Supabase is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the branching and deployment workflow for its Postgres development platform. You'll shape the entire path from local development through production: CLI tooling, migrations, seed data, configuration-as-code, isolated preview branches per pull request, GitHub integration, and promotion workflows. The platform serves 10M+ developers and thousands of enterprises. You'll own the full product lifecycle: talking to customers across the spectrum (indie developers, startups, platforms provisioning environments at scale, and enterprises), finding the needs behind feature requests, and setting the roadmap. You'll make the CLI, migrations, branches, and Git integration feel like one cohesive workflow, deciding where each tool begins and ends. You'll define success metrics before launch—time to first migration, branch adoption, reviewed-workflow adoption—and own the outcome. You'll capture customer evidence, name constraints (provisioning latency, compute capacity, cost per environment, data retention), and set targets for how good each needs to be. You'll decide what gets built, deferred, or cut each quarter, balancing local development ergonomics, partner platforms, enterprise requirements, and infrastructure work. You'll keep engineering, design, and leadership aligned across compute, storage, CLI, dashboard, and GitHub integration, surfacing dependencies early and keeping decisions moving. You should have 7+ years of product management experience on developer tools, or be an ex-founder with strong product instincts. You've shipped developer-workflow products and owned at least one of: local development tooling, migrations, CI/CD, ephemeral environments, or Git-integrated deploys. You understand the tradeoffs: CLI vs. dashboard, schema-only vs. data-bearing environments, copy-on-write clones vs. dump-and-restore, why branching is cheap and merging stateful systems isn't. Postgres ecosystem familiarity is a bonus. You're biased toward action, breaking big bets into shippable pieces and treating each release as a test. You run the workflow yourself: local projects, version-controlled migrations and seeds, branches off pull requests, and production promotions you'd trust on a Friday. You use AI to move faster and work async by default, making decisions in writing. Supabase is fully remote, global hiring. Benefits include ESOP (equity for all team members), tech allowance, 100% health insurance coverage for employees (80% for dependents), annual company off-sites, and flexible async work.
