Remote is a global employment platform that helps organizations recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly. This Product Manager role focuses on the Billing Platform within the Fintech vertical, part of a triad of product managers in the billing team.
You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for a key product area in finance and billing. This includes developing product strategy, building solutions with cross-functional engineering and design teams, and shipping improvements iteratively. You'll be responsible for complex billing and invoicing features that serve Remote's customers globally.
Key responsibilities include: building solutions that solve finance and billing challenges while managing the human and software components of service delivery; leading on complex solutions autonomously without requiring senior support; developing and communicating an effective roadmap and strategy for your product area; breaking down strategic plans into near and mid-term goals; becoming the subject matter expert for your domain; shipping improvements quickly and iteratively; understanding and improving key business KPIs; and collaborating asynchronously across engineering, design, and stakeholders.
You'll work in a fully remote, asynchronous environment across 6 continents. The role emphasizes autonomy, self-driven results, and the ability to use AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code) to build and debug functional prototypes independently, not just write specifications.
Required: prior PM experience in billing/invoicing at a high-growth company; proficiency with AI coding tools; strong judgment on strategic and tactical decisions; demonstrated ability to move products in the right direction; passion for creating seamless products despite complexity; excellent cross-functional communication; fluent English. Bonus: remote work experience.
