Secondmind builds data-efficient Engineering AI software that helps teams make better design and performance optimization decisions faster. The product reduces simulation and testing requirements without compromising quality, accelerating development and enabling more sustainable engineering teams.
As a Product Manager at Secondmind, you will connect what engineers need with what the technology can deliver. You'll work with the Product Management team to build Engineering AI software powered by advanced machine learning that makes engineers' jobs easier. You'll set product strategy and translate it into a clear backlog, guide teams across the business, and convert complex technical capabilities into tools engineers can actually use to design and calibrate systems.
Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and continuously shape product strategy based on customer needs, market opportunities, and business goals
• Champion a product-led culture and advocate for the product vision and strategy across the organization and with external stakeholders
• Engage with stakeholders and collaborate with the UX team to discover and gather product requirements, making them clear to technical teams and defining priorities based on business need
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, build and manage the product backlog, and prioritize and deliver backlog items
• Work closely with Engineering, AI Science, UX, Business Development, and Operations teams to ensure cohesive product development and delivery
• Collaborate with peer Product Managers and UX teams to align priorities across product lines and maintain a cohesive overall product strategy
• Conduct market research in collaboration with marketing, business development, and external consultants to identify trends, user needs, and competitive landscape
• Establish and track key product metrics to assess performance and drive continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally in a technical or B2B software environment
• Strong customer focus with demonstrated ability to gather, prioritize, and translate user needs into product requirements
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA), managing product roadmaps and backlogs
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to align cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and marketing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable making decisions with incomplete or ambiguous information
• Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy
• Comfortable sharing ownership of a wider product portfolio with another Product Manager, keeping priorities and roadmaps aligned across product lines
