Scotch is building a next-generation operating system for beverage alcohol retailers, combining POS, payments, back office, and e-commerce into a unified platform. The company is modernizing the $1.6T beverage alcohol market by helping retailers run more efficiently through streamlined payments, inventory management, reporting, and operations. Founded by alumni from Skupos (acquired 2023) and Drizly (acquired by Uber), Scotch has raised $28M from top-tier VCs including VMG Partners, First Round, and Lerer Hippeau, and closed a $20M Series A in 2026 off 500%+ YoY growth and $1B+ in processed payment volume. You will lead the Data Onboarding team as a Product Manager, owning the end-to-end data experience that is critical to every customer relationship. Onboarding is one of Scotch's hardest problems: extracting years of messy data from legacy point-of-sale systems, transforming it into clean and trustworthy data, and making install day seamless for store owners. Key responsibilities include: owning the product roadmap for data onboarding from legacy POS extraction through conversion, validation, and go-live; driving automation of data cleaning and transformation to reduce time-to-live and cost-to-serve; improving internal tooling and workflows for the onboarding specialist team; shipping customer-facing product changes that give retailers visibility and control; coordinating cross-functional readiness for installs; defining product requirements and success metrics; charting the path toward self-serve onboarding; planning for scale as the user base grows; and leveraging AI tooling to accelerate product discovery and process automation. You'll partner with roughly eight engineers, onboarding specialists, and go-to-market teams, reporting to a Product Director. This is an early product hire role with real ownership—your decisions ship as features in weeks, not quarters, with direct visibility to customer impact. You'll gain broad exposure across retail operations, payments, and developer-facing APIs.
