Quilt is a climate tech company on a mission to move humanity off fossil fuels in homes. Founded by veterans from Google, Apple, Nest, and Tesla, Quilt has built the first major HVAC manufacturer in over 100 years, combining industry-leading heat pumps with AI-driven intelligence including occupancy detection, over-the-air updates, real-time energy optimization, and remote monitoring. The company has raised $63M+ from top-tier climate investors. You will be one of Quilt's first product managers, reporting directly to Bill Kee (co-founder and Chief Product Officer) and working closely with Paul Lambert (co-founder and CEO). This is a generalist PM role with significant scope and autonomy across Quilt's full product portfolio. Your responsibilities span hardware-software integration, AI/ML platforms, and consumer-facing features. Concrete examples include: leading new hardware introductions from requirements through launch, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineers; developing Energy Intelligence capabilities (comfort, efficiency, grid-services) that leverage Quilt's connected heat pump fleet; and building partner-facing enterprise tooling. You'll drive product development across integrated intelligent hardware-software products, AI products and data infrastructure, consumer software, and B2B2C go-to-market channels. Quilt emphasizes product fundamentals: customer obsession, design thinking, excellent communication, high quality standards, and pragmatic execution. PMs create clarity—ensuring teams understand what matters, why, what success looks like, and how work connects to the bigger picture. You'll have exposure to all product classes and considerable autonomy to shape strategy and execution. This role offers rare opportunity to PM across both an industry-leading physical product and the intelligence platform that defines it, with close founder collaboration.
