Factbird is redefining manufacturing operations by combining hardware, firmware, cloud, and AI to turn raw production data into measurable impact on factory floors worldwide. The company is hiring three experienced Product Managers to expand the platform and drive real value for manufacturing customers. As a Product Manager at Factbird, you will set direction, own the roadmap, and drive execution from idea to launch. You'll work closely with dedicated development teams, peer product leaders, and report to the Director of Product. The role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring you to shape how the platform scales and how customers succeed. Three focus areas are available: **Production Insights:** This role requires a strong PM foundation with experience building products that communicate complex datasets and provide actionable insights to different user groups. Previous manufacturing industry experience is a key differentiator—whether you've worked on the shop floor managing production metrics or have deep familiarity with what "real value" means to production line operators. **HW/FW and Data Capture:** Ideal for a structured PM with experience collaborating closely with hardware/firmware teams. You'll partner with senior technical leads to shape the roadmap, combining technical requirements with business priorities. Responsibilities include steering the hardware lifecycle, managing deployed fleet control, and expanding systems that capture data from field devices and inject it into the cloud platform. Knowledge of IoT connectivity, networks, protocols, and integrations is essential. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define roadmaps, prioritize ruthlessly, and work with stakeholders to solve the biggest customer problems - Act as the connective tissue between product, firmware, cloud, UX, and business teams - Clarify customer needs, outline jobs to be done, and translate findings into user stories - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for continuous discovery - Drive product launches, gather customer feedback, and iterate based on real-world usage - Define and track key performance metrics aligned with product objectives **Requirements:** - Solid Product Management Experience: Well-versed in product management frameworks and agile processes with a practical approach - For Production Insights focus: Hands-on shop floor experience with accountability for performance metrics. You've collaborated with operators, process engineers, continuous improvement leads, and plant/operations managers. This operational depth is a hard requirement for this specific role - Continuous Discovery Mindset: Talk to customers constantly, map their jobs to be done, identify commonalities, and remain comfortable with ambiguity until the real problem surfaces - Strong Data and Analytics Instinct: Comfortable working with data and translating analysis into concrete actions - Natural Communicator: Speak the language of engineers, designers, operators, and leadership, adapting communication style appropriately - Driving Teams: Proven ability to set and agree direction and goals with R&D teams, driving results in a manner where the team feels proud of the outcome Note: This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and requires relocation. The company will support the move for the right hire. Eligibility for a Danish work permit is required.
