Bastion is a regulated infrastructure platform for stablecoins, combining custodial wallets, global payment orchestration, and stablecoin issuance. The company operates through its own regulated entities with compliance and risk controls built into the platform. You will own the Shared Services vertical—the foundational capabilities that every other product area depends on. This is a high-leverage individual contributor role with real ownership from day one, potentially up-leveled to Senior PM based on candidate strength. Shared Services sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and compliance. The work centers on controls and obligations that make stablecoin infrastructure trustworthy: identity and due-diligence flows, third-party risk controls, regulatory reporting, and policies governing money movement. In your first 30 days, you'll map the Shared Services surface area, meet cross-functional partners, take ownership of compliance-critical workstreams, establish a triage cadence, and ship visible progress on customer-gating milestones. By 90 days, you'll own the roadmap end-to-end, run a predictable operating rhythm, drive requirements across concurrent regulated workstreams, partner with Compliance on defensible checkpoints, and keep stakeholders informed on status and tradeoffs. By 180 days, you'll sustain delivery across regulated workstreams, build instrumentation and feedback loops for repeatable prioritization, institutionalize requirements and checkpoint practices, anticipate regulatory obligations, and reduce recurring load on Engineering. Key challenges include turning open-ended compliance obligations into clear, shippable product work; sequencing a heavily loaded vertical; reasoning about stablecoin infrastructure to make sound tradeoffs; maintaining reliable triage under shifting workload; and creating clarity from ambiguity when obligations are incomplete or customer needs conflict. The company is open to candidates anywhere in the US, with preference for those in or willing to relocate/travel to New York City. No prior stablecoin experience required; preference for fintech, compliance, or risk background.
