Heidi Health is an AI-powered healthcare platform that has grown to support over 2 million patient sessions weekly across 116 countries. The company pivoted from broad healthcare AI to build an AI Care Partner focused on clinical documentation and workflow automation, with over 200,000 clinicians using the platform daily.
You will own the product strategy and roadmap for Heidi's client platforms (iOS, Android, and desktop), which clinicians interact with hundreds of times per day during patient consultations. This is a high-impact role where every interaction, latency millisecond, and pixel matters in a clinical context.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning product strategy and roadmap for mobile and desktop platforms, with clear goal-setting and accountability
- Obsessing over performance metrics: frame drops, loading spinners, crashes, and platform-specific regressions
- Navigating platform constraints across iOS, Android, and Electron, making native vs. cross-platform decisions
- Owning mobile monetization strategy including App Store compliance, onboarding optimization, and payment pathways
- Leveraging native platform capabilities (Bluetooth, calling, camera, clipboard) for clinician workflows
- Partnering with engineering and design teams to ship meaningful improvements that affect millions of weekly sessions
- Collaborating with hardware teams on design-engineering tradeoffs for wearables and ambient surfaces
- Maintaining high standards for issue tracking, design system consistency, and team shipping practices
- Building relationships with Apple and Google to stay ahead of OS changes
You should be an execution powerhouse who ships regularly, has deep platform fluency with strong opinions on iOS/Android convergence, and obsesses over performance optimization. The role requires technical depth (ability to read code, profile apps, optimize render loops), consumer product craft applied to B2B contexts, and fluency with LLM concepts to translate AI capabilities into reliable user-facing products. You should default to building over requesting, work effectively with small teams, and be motivated by solving real healthcare system problems.
