You will lead product development for a new U.S. retail stock brokerage platform, owning both the client-facing app and self-built trading system. On the app side, with core architecture in place, you'll drive product design for market data, investment decision-support tools, and AI features. On the back-end, you'll own the 0-to-1 system build-out and module-level product planning.
Key responsibilities include: designing market pages, rankings, earnings calendars, and macro data displays; enriching stock-detail pages with fundamentals modules; building stock screeners and discovery tools; integrating AI for earnings summaries and natural-language screening; managing external broker and clearing-firm integrations; designing the complete trading chain (order management, routing, execution, lifecycle); defining account and funds rules (buying power, deposits, withdrawals, settlement); designing back-office modules (reconciliation, accounting, corporate actions); partnering with finance teams on efficiency improvements; owning event tracking and funnel metrics; and conducting competitive benchmarking.
You'll need 4+ years of fintech product experience, including 2+ years on U.S. equities brokerage products. Deep expertise in either client-facing (market data, discovery, stock content) or trading back-end (trading, accounts, clearing/settlement) is required, plus working knowledge of the other domain. You must understand U.S. equities trading, settlement, clearing, market data, financial statements, valuation metrics, and corporate actions. Strong PRD craft with field-level definitions, formulas, state machines, and edge-case coverage is essential. You should be responsive, self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and fluent in written and spoken English. Preferred qualifications include experience building market-data or discovery modules at leading brokerages, brokerage back-end system experience, hands-on 0-to-1 module-level work, and daily use of AI tools.
