Figma is seeking a deeply technical Product Manager to own the AI Platform that powers Figma Make and the Figma agent. This role sits at the intersection of product and infrastructure, focusing on the distributed developer systems, agent infrastructure that integrates frontier models and MCP servers, evaluation platforms for continuous quality assurance, and context platforms that personalize AI outputs to customers' design systems. You will define and drive platform strategy across one or more areas of the AI platform, including search & context (how Figma leverages context from inside and outside the platform while maintaining enterprise customer trust) and the integrations platform (how external AI agents like Claude and ChatGPT access Figma context via MCP Server and REST APIs, and how Figma's AI products appear in other surfaces like Slack and Microsoft Teams). Key responsibilities include influencing product roadmaps where platform capabilities create new opportunities, partnering with engineering managers and tech leads on architecture and UX decisions, engaging frequently with product teams, customers, partners, and vendors to distill learnings into platform commitments, and raising the bar for technical PMs at Figma by pattern-matching across areas and surfacing cross-cutting problems. You should have 8-10 years of product management experience on highly technical products, proven experience shipping developer tools, infrastructure products, or AI-powered technical systems, and hands-on technical fluency demonstrated through building and shipping work yourself. Strong systems thinking, ability to drive strategy and execution in ambiguous fast-moving areas, and skill in distilling complex technical concepts into clear decisions are essential. Experience with modern frontend frameworks, deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, scaling platform capabilities, or launching enterprise-scale products is a plus. This is a full-time role available from Figma's US hubs (San Francisco or New York) or remote within the United States.
