Dynamo AI builds a platform for enterprises to deploy and maintain AI applications in production, with products covering risk assessment, evaluation, runtime guardrails, and observability for generative AI and agentic systems. The company works with regulated enterprises in financial services, insurance, healthcare, and defense.
As Product Manager for AI Governance & Compliance, you will design how legal, risk, and compliance teams participate in policy writing, guardrail creation, and guardrail optimization—a process that does not exist today at most enterprises. You will work out stakeholder participation models, what teams sign off on, and how to secure their involvement through economic buyers. You will build product workflows that make compliance team contributions practical within their available time, requiring deep understanding of how large enterprises assign responsibility and bring teams outside the buying organization into new work.
Your scope will expand over time to include audit-ready evidence records, translating regional regulations (EU AI Act, UK Equality Act) into enforceable guardrails, AI system inventory and risk tiering, and streamlining procurement, privacy, and legal reviews for AI vendors. You will present to customers' senior risk and legal stakeholders, establish credibility as an authority on these problems, and lead customer engagements when needed.
Key responsibilities include: owning the roadmap for legal, risk, and compliance workflows against defined customer problems and success metrics; mapping each customer's stakeholders and securing their participation; designing and running engagement models with customers and translating them into product; leading engagements with model risk, compliance, legal, and privacy teams; translating regulatory requirements into product requirements; collaborating with other product managers on shared policies and reporting; and tracking AI regulation and supervisory guidance to assess impact on customers and roadmap.
You will spend 4 to 6 weeks per year at customer sites, with additional time during large contract engagements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 to 4 years of product management experience in GRC, regtech, legal tech, risk management, or enterprise workflow software
- Direct experience working with legal, risk, compliance, or audit teams at large enterprises, with understanding of their mandates, incentives, and decision-making processes
- Track record of bringing a team into a new process or responsibility it did not previously own, in an organization where that team did not report to you or the project sponsor
- Understanding of enterprise decision-making: how budget holders, reviewers, and approvers differ, and how to secure time and sign-off from teams outside the buying organization
- Working knowledge of how regulated enterprises govern models and AI, including model risk management practices (SR 11-7) and frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
- Technical understanding of LLMs, evaluations, and guardrails sufficient to discuss precision, recall, and false positive tradeoffs with engineers and explain them to non-technical reviewers
- Strong writing and presentation skills, with experience producing documents that withstand review by legal and risk teams
- Willingness to travel 4 to 6 weeks per year to customer sites
NICE TO HAVE:
- Prior experience in model risk validation, compliance, internal audit, or risk consulting
- Experience with privacy (GDPR, DPIAs) or third-party risk management
- Experience designing annotation, labeling, or review workflows for subject matter experts
- Legal training or experience interpreting regulation
- Experience in financial services or insurance
