Podium is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead AI product strategy for the Automotive vertical. The company has scaled to $100M+ in AI Agent ARR in under 24 months, deploying 10,000+ AI employees across 60,000+ businesses in Auto, Home Services, and Aesthetics. This is a high-ownership, long-term role focused on defining product direction and customer outcomes for how Podium drives revenue in the automotive industry.
You will own the Automotive vertical end-to-end, building deep expertise in dealership and service center workflows. Key responsibilities include: staying close to customers to understand their business and success metrics; shaping strategic direction for the Automotive AI platform; designing and shipping outcome-driven AI agents that automate high-value workflows; identifying and unlocking new revenue-driving workflows; partnering across engineering, design, partnerships, finance, legal, sales, onboarding, and customer success; and executing hands-on PM work from user stories and specs through testing and iteration.
The role requires balancing strategic thinking with detailed execution. You'll work across Podium's entire product surface—inbox, phones, payments, CRM, integrations—to create a comprehensive solution for dealerships and service centers. While automotive industry experience is helpful, what matters most is your ability to deeply understand customer problems, translate them into product solutions, and execute with speed.
Required: 5-7 years of product management or related experience with emphasis on technical products; solid understanding of AI agent design, human-in-the-loop patterns, and enterprise integrations; demonstrated high agency and ability to drive projects forward with minimal oversight; strong focus on customer pain and ability to turn insights into prototypes and compelling product stories.
Desired: hands-on coding experience; background in ML, LLMs, or large-scale systems integration; startup or entrepreneurial experience; technical degree or equivalent expertise; experience in vertical SaaS or local business software; experience leading business initiatives beyond product development; success with partner integrations or channel-based expansion.
