Slide Insurance, a publicly traded property & casualty insurance company, is seeking a Product Management Analyst to support the development and optimization of homeowners insurance products. You will work at the intersection of analytics, strategy, technology, and customer experience, partnering with Product Managers, Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Data Science, and Engineering teams. Key responsibilities include analyzing homeowners insurance product performance metrics such as loss trends, retention, new business quality, and profitability to inform strategic business decisions. You will extract, validate, and interpret data from internal systems and large datasets to support pricing, underwriting, reserving, and reinsurance functions. You'll develop, maintain, and enhance both recurring and ad hoc reports to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and surface opportunities for improvement. You will conduct market research and competitive analysis, synthesizing findings into actionable insights and recommendations for product management. Additionally, you'll support documentation and refinement of business and functional requirements for product changes, implementations, and regulatory updates. Clear communication is essential—you'll prepare analyses and presentations that translate technical findings into business-relevant insights for product management and cross-functional stakeholders. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience), minimum 2 years in insurance/underwriting/product roles, and 2+ years of data analysis experience. Homeowners or personal lines insurance experience is preferred. You must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and working knowledge of insurance concepts and performance metrics. SQL or similar data tools experience is preferred. You should be comfortable applying independent judgment, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced regulated environment, and collaborating effectively across teams.
