Polymarket is the world's fastest-growing prediction market platform, enabling users to trade on real-world outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. The platform has facilitated $115B in trades and operates as a peer-to-peer marketplace aggregating diverse opinions into market-based probabilities. You will own the data licensing product end-to-end, responsible for packaging prediction market data and building the institutional distribution program in partnership with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). This is a greenfield opportunity to build a new revenue stream from scratch. Key responsibilities include: - Define data products (real-time event probabilities, order book depth, trade prints, historical archives) and tier/entitlement structures - Establish pricing, packaging, and deal structures for different client types (hedge funds, banks, proprietary trading firms, media) - Serve as primary product counterpart to ICE's distribution team, managing the joint roadmap - Conduct direct client conversations to understand institutional demand and translate into product roadmap - Build the commercial narrative around prediction market data differentiation - Partner with data engineering on feed architecture, latency, uptime SLAs, and reliability standards - Collaborate with legal and compliance on licensing terms, redistribution rights, and market data policy - Own program metrics including licensing revenue, client adoption, and feed usage - Create comprehensive documentation for sales, support, and engineering teams You should have 7+ years in product management, market data, or commercial roles in financial data with direct ownership of revenue-generating products. Deep familiarity with market data packaging, licensing, and pricing is essential. You need experience selling to or working with institutional clients and strong product instincts including roadmap prioritization and spec writing. Technical fluency with data engineers on feed design and schema is required. You're a self-starter comfortable being the sole owner of this program. Prior experience at exchanges, market data vendors, index providers, or launching data products through distribution partners is a plus.
