Greptile is an AI code reviewer that analyzes pull requests and codebases to catch bugs, anti-patterns, and security vulnerabilities. The company reviews 5 billion lines of code monthly for 22,000+ customers across startups, big tech, finance, healthcare, and defense sectors. Greptile offers both cloud and self-hosted, air-gapped deployments for enterprise security requirements.
You will build Greptile's security product from the ground up, working on AI agents and infrastructure that identify, validate, reproduce, and fix vulnerabilities. This is a high-impact role where security accuracy is critical—developers and security teams across thousands of organizations will rely on your work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build security scanning capabilities, including codebase-wide scanning, security-focused PR bots, and continuous pentesting tools
- Improve how AI agents understand codebases, identify vulnerabilities, and provide actionable fix guidance
- Build testing and validation infrastructure where agents can detect, reproduce, and verify security issues
- Integrate security findings into pull requests, CI pipelines, and existing developer workflows
- Work directly with developers and security teams to iterate on product feedback, improve reliability, and optimize performance across diverse codebases
- Design, implement, test, and deploy full features end-to-end
The team is small and talent-dense, with members who have scaled critical functions at Stripe, Google, and Figma. The company has raised $30M from top-tier investors including Benchmark, Y Combinator, and Paul Graham, and has scaled from $0 to eight-figure ARR.
You'll work in-person in San Francisco with a team excited about high-growth challenges and building products that thousands of developers depend on daily.
