Quince is a Series D-backed direct-to-consumer retailer founded in 2018 that disrupts retail by offering high-quality essentials at radically low prices through sustainable, fair manufacturing. The company uses AI, analytics, and automation to scale while maintaining commitment to quality, design, and environmental responsibility. As Product Development Manager for Furniture, you will own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for the furniture category. You will manage day-to-day timelines for new products, color/size extensions, vendor transitions, and refreshes, tracking milestones and escalating risks early. You serve as the central coordination point across Merchandising, Sourcing, Fit, Technical Development, Materials, QA, Creative, and Vendors to ensure alignment on development status and dependencies. Key responsibilities include ensuring all required product documentation is complete and accurate, managing vendor performance and relationships to drive quality and on-time delivery, developing and implementing category strategy aligned with company goals, conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams on product launches, and maintaining detailed tracking of development metrics and KPIs. You will be expected to raise the bar on quality standards consistently, ensure execution excellence across the vendor base, and align teams around shared new product metrics. This role is critical to Quince's growth strategy as the company scales existing and new product categories. You will work with a high-performing team of builders, innovators, and operators committed to redefining quality, value, and sustainability in modern retail.
