Plaid is seeking a Product Designer to help design and ship high-quality experiences across Plaid Dashboard. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers on features that help customers configure products, understand activity, manage workflows, and act on insights. You'll own moderately complex design work from exploration through delivery, bringing strong visual and interaction craft while continuing to develop your product judgment and influence.
The Dashboard team focuses on shipping experiences and elevating the UX quality of Plaid's Dashboard—a key surface area for customers and data partners. The Dashboard provides a variety of features and tools for launching with Plaid, integration monitoring, account management, and is home to emerging insights products for payments and risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design clear, intuitive experiences for customers navigating complex financial and technical workflows
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from problem definition through implementation
- Understand customer needs and use research and feedback to improve their experiences
- Produce polished UI, user flows, and interactive prototypes with thoughtful interactions, states, and edge cases
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform iteration and evaluate outcomes
- Work with experienced designers, use and improve shared patterns, and contribute to critique and design reviews

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products, ideally including B2B applications or complex workflows
- Ability to produce polished UI, user flows, and interactive prototypes with thoughtful interactions, states, and edge cases
- Clear verbal and visual communication, with the ability to explain design rationale and respond constructively to feedback
- Track record of partnering with Product and Engineering to deliver well-scoped work, considering user needs, technical constraints, and business goals
- Iterative design process that explores alternatives, weighs trade-offs, and produces thoughtful, shippable solutions
