Roblox is seeking a Product Designer to shape the next generation of its internal tool ecosystem, specifically within the Roblox Operating System (ROS) team. This role focuses on designing intuitive, self-service tools and AI-assisted workflows that enable internal teams to manage data analytics, knowledge discovery, and platform integrations at scale.
You will partner closely with product managers and engineers to translate complex technical requirements and dense data primitives into elegant, unified user experiences. Your responsibilities include:
• Leading end-to-end UX design for core productivity and collaboration surfaces, removing friction from daily workflows
• Unifying the internal tool ecosystem by connecting work tracking, performance metrics, and knowledge discovery into cohesive workflows
• Pioneering new interaction patterns for LLM-powered agentic workflows, designing the handoff between user intent and AI execution while maintaining trust and control
• Collaborating across product, engineering, and data science teams to navigate technical constraints while maintaining design integrity
• Owning high-visibility dashboards and leadership-facing experiences that translate operational signals into actionable insights
You will bring systematic design thinking, proven ability to simplify complexity, and passion for defining AI-driven interaction patterns. The role emphasizes uncompromising design craft at the enterprise layer, proving that powerful internal platforms can be both beautiful and intuitive.
Roblox operates on a hybrid schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in-office at San Mateo headquarters, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 4+ years of product design experience solving complex, systems-level problems in highly technical enterprise environments
• Domain expertise in data analytics, enterprise ecosystems, internal productivity platforms, or developer tooling
• Experience translating organizational workflows and data primitives into unified, self-service experiences
• AI/LLM design experience: defining interfaces for agentic workflows, Work Intelligence platforms, or intelligent automation, with understanding of user trust, proactive insight, and control
• Expert proficiency with modern design stacks, particularly complex Figma environments and AI-augmented workflows
• Obsessive attention to craft and detail; commitment to refining until experiences feel inevitable and effortless
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across large-scale, ambiguous initiatives spanning multiple teams from concept through launch
