As a Product Designer, you will lead the design process from discovery through delivery, partnering closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and Data Scientists. You'll own the end-to-end design experience for features and products, from research and wireframing through prototyping, testing, and launch. Your responsibilities include:
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to define customer needs and pain points
- Identifying key success metrics and owning their achievement
- Conducting user research, guerrilla testing, and customer workshops to validate designs
- Designing simple, elegant solutions across iOS, Android, and web platforms
- Creating wireframes, flows, and interactive prototypes
- Presenting design decisions and technical solutions in design reviews
- Analyzing release performance and iterating based on learnings
- Researching and bringing forward insights for complex initiatives like new market launches and feature expansions
You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where design directly impacts millions of users globally. The role requires balancing strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail, from typography and grids to end-to-end user flows.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience designing world-class commercial apps in-house
- Portfolio demonstrating product design work
- Proficiency in iOS, Android, and web design
- Ability to think strategically about product and articulate design decisions
- Understanding of technical implications in design choices
- Ownership mindset for design processes
- Strong UX focus with understanding of human behavior
- Clean visual design sense with skills in typography and grids
- Problem-solving orientation and comfort with challenge
NICE TO HAVE:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Programming experience and ability to code simple prototypes
- Experience designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments
