Pika is seeking a Product Designer to lead the design of its generative AI creative platform. In this hands-on role, you will own design projects from concept through polished execution across mobile and web, shaping the core user experience that empowers millions of creators.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading design projects end-to-end across mobile and web for key platform areas
- Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate AI advancements into intuitive, accessible user experiences
- Developing product strategies, refining interaction patterns, and moving ideas from prototype to shipped features
- Defining and maintaining visual language, design systems, and user flows that inspire creativity
- Engaging directly with creators and the Pika community to understand user needs and inform design direction
- Communicating design intent through storytelling, prototypes, and clear rationale
- Balancing systems-thinking with meticulous attention to detail—typography, spacing, color, animation, and coherent solutions
- Advocating for user-centric design with empathy and impact

Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of product design (UI/UX) experience with a portfolio of shipped mobile apps
- Proven track record leading UX and visual design projects
- Familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and system-level design
- Ability to quickly visualize, prototype, and iterate in fast-paced environments
- Expertise developing robust, consistent design logic aligned with user mental models
- Strong collaboration skills; ability to debate ideas constructively and build cross-team alignment
- Passion for empowering creators through technology and design
Bonus: Experience designing creative tools, social media, or games; design degree; design-engineering or high-fidelity prototyping skills; location in/around Palo Alto, CA.
