Arrive Logistics is a transportation and technology company seeking a mid-level Product Designer to join its product design team. You will work on a proprietary transportation management platform used by operations and sales representatives to manage freight logistics. The platform is mission-critical—users spend eight hours daily in the tool under real-time pressure, making design decisions about speed, information hierarchy, and workflow friction directly impact business outcomes and user efficiency.
In this role, you will own feature and flow designs from early framing through shipped UI, working closely with product managers and engineers to define requirements and iterate rapidly. You'll conduct lightweight user research including interviews, usability tests, and feedback sessions with onsite users who are generous with feedback. You'll design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma and Miro, contribute to and maintain the design system, and present work clearly to both team members and stakeholders. You'll participate in design critiques with the wider team and help shape the product direction for a complex operational tool.
The design challenges here center on dense, data-heavy interfaces and complex workflows. You'll design for expert users who know their domain deeply, allowing you to optimize for depth and speed rather than oversimplification. The platform is built in-house, so you'll see your work in production and receive direct feedback from users. The design system is mature but expanding, giving you the opportunity to contribute new patterns and components.
Arrive operates a hybrid model with offices in Austin and other locations. The team values early-stage rough ideas over polished late submissions, and you'll receive regular critique and support from the wider design team.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience as a product or UX designer, ideally on B2B or SaaS products
- Portfolio demonstrating your design thinking process, including options considered and rationale for final decisions
- Strong Figma proficiency
- Comfort working within an established design system and contributing back to it
- Solid interaction design and usability fundamentals, especially for data-dense or workflow-heavy interfaces
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in agile or sprint-based product development environments
- Experience using AI tools in your design process (Figma Make, Claude, or similar)
- Bonus: experience designing for logistics, supply chain, or complex operational tools
