Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume and registered users, is seeking a Product Counsel to provide end-to-end legal support for designated product verticals. This role sits at the intersection of product development, compliance, and business strategy within a leading global blockchain ecosystem. You will act as primary legal counsel for at least two product verticals, managing the full lifecycle from development through launch and ongoing governance. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating product documentation, user terms, and commercial agreements to regulated-grade standards. You will provide clear, business-oriented legal advice on product structuring, innovation, and regulatory considerations across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with product managers, business leads, compliance, and risk teams to anticipate and mitigate legal issues. You will enhance the quality and consistency of legal documentation, ensuring enforceability and alignment with best practices in global financial markets. The role also involves supporting global and regional legal projects in response to legal and regulatory developments, and contributing to knowledge-sharing and mentorship within the Product Legal team. REQUIREMENTS: - Qualified lawyer admitted in a leading common law or civil law jurisdiction with strong academic credentials - 6–10 years' post-qualification experience in financial services, technology, or a top-tier law firm, with focus on margin lending, derivatives, trading, structured products, or fintech/crypto - Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex financial or technology product terms and user-facing documentation - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to digital assets (experience with ADGM/FSRA, ESMA, FCA, MAS, or equivalent regulators is a strong advantage) - Commercial mindset with ability to balance legal risk and business objectives in a fast-paced environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages (especially relevant to APAC or Middle East) are a plus - Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality work - Comfortable working across time zones and cultures with strong collaboration skills - Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to operate with a high degree of independence
