Bybit, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange and digital financial platform serving over 80 million users, is seeking a Principal Fiat Product Specialist to own the product planning and iteration of payment channel integration and infrastructure capabilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing scalable integration solutions that support multiple payment methods, regions, and partner institutions. You will own the full lifecycle of payment channel integrations, including bank integrations, payment gateways, settlement systems, and internal service frameworks. Your work will directly impact transaction success rates, system latency, availability, and reconciliation accuracy across the platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning product planning and iteration for payment infrastructure and channel integrations
- Designing scalable solutions for bank integrations, payment gateways, and settlement systems
- Collaborating with engineering teams to build stable, reusable, and extensible infrastructure services
- Coordinating with external partners (banks, payment service providers, vendors) on integration requirements, testing, and launches
- Monitoring and optimizing core infrastructure performance metrics
- Analyzing integration failures and operational issues to drive root-cause resolution
- Defining operational processes, contingency mechanisms, and failover strategies
- Working with compliance, operations, risk control, and customer support teams to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in payment, fintech, infrastructure, or platform product management
- Familiarity with payment channel integration processes, API design principles, and distributed system architecture concepts
- Understanding of payment lifecycle concepts (authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, transaction routing)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify system bottlenecks and drive technical optimization
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong ownership mindset with experience managing complex system integrations and infrastructure initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with banking integrations, payment gateways, or acquiring systems
- Experience in cryptocurrency exchanges, cross-border payments, or fintech infrastructure
- Familiarity with service reliability, monitoring systems, or transaction routing strategies
- Basic understanding of risk control, compliance, and operational processes in payment systems
