HeartFlow is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the multi-year strategy for its portfolio of AI-driven cardiac diagnostic products. This is a senior individual-contributor role—not a management position—for a product leader who will shape how cardiac care is delivered at scale. You will own product strategy across HeartFlow's suite of FDA-regulated solutions (FFR_CT Analysis, RoadMap Analysis, Plaque Analysis) that have been used by over 500,000 patients globally. Your responsibilities span: defining multi-year portfolio strategy and sequencing bets; establishing performance targets and "good enough to ship" criteria before development; mapping end-to-end care pathways (referral through reimbursement); authoring user needs and system requirements for complex, ambiguous problems; serving as the product voice in FDA interactions (pre-submission, V&V planning, evidence design, post-market surveillance); aligning engineering, data science, UX, clinical, regulatory, and marketing teams without formal authority; maintaining direct relationships with physicians, key opinion leaders, and health-system customers; and providing leadership with honest, quantified views of portfolio risk and progress. Success is measured by the quality of decisions the organization makes because of your expertise and influence. You will be the company's deepest product-side expert on clinical workflow, validation, and real-world performance—trusted to make calls that engineering, clinical, and regulatory leadership build upon. Required: extensive product management experience with FDA-regulated software, including at least one product taken from concept through clearance/approval into routine use. You need real domain depth in cardiovascular disease, diagnostic imaging, multimodal risk assessment, or decision support—enough to hold your own with physicians. Fluency in medical product validation (study design, generalization, sensitivity/specificity trade-offs, real-world performance gaps) and working command of design controls, risk management, V&V, human factors, and post-market obligations are essential. You bring strategic and quantitative rigor to ambiguous problems, can size opportunities and reason under uncertainty, and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
