Culture Amp, the world's leading employee experience platform serving 25 million employees across 6,000+ companies, is seeking a Principal Systems & Data Analyst to join the Growth Marketing team in Chicago. This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role focused on building trustworthy data foundations for the marketing stack. You will own the data architecture, system logic, and attribution design that underpin pipeline measurement and reporting. This is not a reporting-only role—you'll work upstream of analytics, defining how the organization measures, attributes, and trusts pipeline data. You'll partner with the Marketing Systems Architect on stack architecture and integrations, and collaborate with Marketing Operations, SDR Operations, and Growth teams to ensure data standards hold across the entire funnel. Key responsibilities include: designing and implementing attribution models for the growth-marketing funnel; building and maintaining pipeline and attribution reporting in Looker and Amplitude; defining field standards, deduplication rules, and data quality SLAs across HubSpot and Salesforce; mapping and improving end-to-end data flows to identify sync gaps and reporting risks; supporting regional and growth-marketing teams with attribution and performance analysis; owning source-of-truth definitions for customer and account data; partnering with SDR Operations on data consistency; and documenting data definitions and standards to reduce tribal knowledge. You'll work with a modern martech stack including HubSpot, Salesforce, Qualified, 6sense, Outreach, Amplitude, and Looker. The role requires 8+ years of experience in marketing or revenue analytics, attribution modeling, or data analysis in B2B SaaS environments, with a track record of owning complex outcomes independently at a senior level. Required skills include hands-on experience with HubSpot and Salesforce data models, experience evaluating and implementing attribution tools, strong SQL and data manipulation skills, and working knowledge of modern analytics foundations such as data warehousing, dbt, LookML, and BI governance. Experience with Looker, Amplitude, and AI tools for data quality analysis is highly valued. Culture Amp is venture-backed with offices in the US, UK, Germany, and Australia. The company has been recognized by Forbes as one of the world's top private cloud companies and by Fast Company as one of the most innovative companies. Most roles require working from the local Culture Amp office an average of 2 days per week.
