Culture Amp, the world's leading employee experience platform serving 25 million employees across 6,000+ companies, is seeking a Principal Systems & Data Analyst to join the Growth Marketing team. This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role focused on building trustworthy data foundations rather than reporting alone.
You will own the data architecture and attribution design that underpins pipeline measurement across Culture Amp's modern marketing stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, Qualified, 6sense, Outreach, Amplitude, Looker). Your responsibilities include designing and implementing attribution models, defining field standards and data quality SLAs, mapping end-to-end data flows, identifying sync gaps and source-of-truth conflicts, and building clear documentation to eliminate tribal knowledge.
You'll work within the Systems & Data team under Lifecycle & Marketing Operations, partnering closely with the Marketing Systems Architect (who owns stack architecture), the Marketing Operations team, SDR Operations, and Growth/Brand Marketing teams. You'll support regional teams with attribution and performance questions, own customer and account data definitions, and ensure data health consistency across the full funnel.
Key responsibilities: design and maintain attribution reporting in Looker and Amplitude; define deduplication rules and data quality SLAs; improve data flows across HubSpot, Salesforce, and adjacent systems; support segmentation and lifecycle marketing reporting; partner on integration design; document standards and reporting logic.
Required: 8+ years in marketing/revenue analytics, attribution modeling, or B2B SaaS data analysis at a senior level; hands-on experience with HubSpot and Salesforce data models; experience evaluating and implementing attribution tools; strong SQL and data manipulation skills; working knowledge of data warehousing, dbt, LookML, and BI governance; experience with Looker and/or Amplitude preferred. Familiarity with AI tools for data quality analysis and LLMs for natural-language reporting is valued.
Culture Amp is venture-backed with offices in the US, UK, Germany, and Australia. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of 2 days per week in the San Francisco office.
