Braze is seeking a Principal, Strategic AI Sales professional to lead business development for Braze AI, specifically the Decision Studio product. This role focuses on winning and growing enterprise customer relationships by collaborating with the broader Braze sales organization and engaging senior stakeholders at target companies.
Key responsibilities include leading discovery and evaluation discussions with potential Braze AI Decision Studio customers, working cross-functionally with pre-sales and post-sales teams to identify high-impact AI applications and quantify business value, and enabling sales colleagues on reinforcement learning concepts and marketing applications. You'll participate in Proof of Value engagements with the technical implementation team, communicate customer feedback to product and marketing teams to inform roadmap decisions, and represent Braze AI at industry events and conferences.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, consulting, marketing technology, AI, or marketing, with a proven track record of success. You should be an exceptional communicator with strong executive presence, able to influence C-level stakeholders and navigate complex technology evaluations. Business acumen is essential—you understand key business drivers and can articulate how AI accelerates impact. You're entrepreneurial, execution-focused, and process-driven, with the ability to structure plans, align stakeholders, and see initiatives through to completion. You build trust-based relationships internally and externally, combining empathy with directness when needed.
