As Principal Solutions Engineer for Strategic Accounts, you will be a technical expert bridging deal closure and customer success for Scribe's most complex and market-changing products. Working in partnership with Account Executives and Customer Success teams, you will earn the trust of Fortune 500 executives as a technical authority on Scribe's Workflow AI capabilities, design groundbreaking solutions, and lead Proofs of Concept for strategic enterprise accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the technical layer of Scribe's largest strategic deals, partnering with Account Executives from discovery through close, running tailored Optimize demos, leading POC planning sessions, and designing proof of concepts tied to measurable customer outcomes
- Deeply understand business challenges faced by prospects and build ROI narratives grounded in actual workflow data, translating time saved and costs avoided into quantifiable numbers
- Act as technical expert, driving technical validation and security workstreams as key deal-cycle elements
- Build credibility with technical stakeholders, earning champions and removing technical roadblocks
- Carry customer voice to Product team with evidence, documenting what works, what doesn't, and what customers need next
- Turn learnings into repeatable pre-sales assets and playbooks to accelerate future deals
- Hold deep working knowledge of Scribe's platform and serve as technical reference for go-to-market team
- Be part of a brand new team defining how Scribe wins on its most strategic product, Scribe Optimize, for the largest and most complex organizations
You will be energized by ambiguity, excited to define this function from scratch, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams. Travel up to 30% expected to meet with customers and prospects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Account Management, or comparable pre-sales technical role at a high-growth SaaS company
- Experience working deal cycles with complex named Strategic Accounts
- Strong AI fluency: understand how large language models work, speak credibly about LLM architecture, prompt design, model behavior, and AI output quality with CIO/VP of IT personas
- Deep understanding of business outcomes prospects seek and ability to translate customer requirements into technical context for AI/ML Engineering teams
- Ability to understand and articulate Scribe's Workflow AI technical framework—how workflow data is captured, processed, and surfaced as insights—and explain it clearly to technical and non-technical audiences at senior levels
- Understanding of enterprise workflows and operational processes; experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP; knowledge of how F100 companies approach process improvement and automation
- Ability to build trust quickly with executive stakeholders and end users; skill in anchoring technical conversations to outcomes that matter to each audience
- Builder mindset: energized by ambiguity and defining what this function looks like rather than stepping into a pre-made role
- Data-driven and ROI-obsessed: ability to build business cases, validate assumptions, and help customers see real, quantifiable impact
- Collaborative, low-ego approach; thriving in team environments, partnering closely with AEs and CSMs
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with process mining, workflow intelligence, or operational analytics tools
- Work inside an AI/ML product team or deployment of AI-powered products in enterprise context
- Founding or first-of-its-kind role at a high-growth SaaS company
- Familiarity with enterprise AI security reviews, model governance frameworks, or responsible AI practices
