SingleStore is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted technical expert for Fortune 1,000 customers evaluating the SingleStore unified data platform. This role sits at the intersection of sales and engineering, where you will drive technical evaluations, design proofs of concept, and demonstrate how SingleStore's real-time transaction, analytics, and search capabilities solve mission-critical business problems.
You will partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts by understanding complex technical requirements and translating them into compelling demonstrations. Your responsibilities include conducting technical evaluations (query tuning, load testing), designing and deploying POCs in customer environments, educating prospects on SingleStore's strategy and vision, and serving as the subject matter expert during the sales cycle. You will also collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing) to share customer feedback and develop channel/partner relationships for co-selling in the region.

The platform handles streaming data ingestion, vector search, full-text search, and multi-model data types at petabyte scale with high performance and low latency. **Requirements:**
- Fluency in English and regional languages
- Experience with Gen AI, ML, and Advanced Analytics
- Proven success selling enterprise database technologies, distributed systems, and similar products
- Deep understanding of distributed database technologies (both analytic and transactional processing)
- Expertise executing POCs and deploying complex technologies into existing customer environments
- In-depth knowledge of data platforms and competitive products (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
- Experience with cloud and containerized environments, deployment, and orchestration (Linux, Kubernetes)
- Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, or other programming languages
- Ability to travel within the region and internationally
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field
