Snowflake is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to join its Services Delivery team, helping enterprise customers build and deploy AI/ML pipelines on the Snowflake Data Cloud. In this strategic technical role, you will be a subject-matter expert on Snowflake's AI/ML capabilities, working directly with customers to understand their use cases, architect tailored solutions, and ensure successful production deployments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the technical authority on Snowflake's AI/ML features and best practices, advising customers on scaling production workloads
- Collaborating with customer teams and Systems Integrators to design and oversee implementation of AI/ML solutions
- Building proof-of-concepts using SQL, Python, and Snowflake's Cortex AI features to demonstrate implementation techniques
- Providing hands-on technical guidance to resolve customer-specific challenges
- Mentoring other Solutions Architects and Services Delivery team members
- Maintaining deep knowledge of competitive AI/ML platforms and positioning Snowflake accordingly
- Partnering with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's offerings
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years in pre-sales or post-sales technical customer-facing roles
- Deep expertise in generative AI and agent lifecycles (document ingestion, vector embeddings, LLM selection, monitoring)
- Comprehensive understanding of the complete ML lifecycle (feature engineering, model development, deployment, management)
- Strong knowledge of AI/MLOps, deployment methodologies, and model monitoring
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms (SageMaker, Databricks, Vertex AI, AzureML, etc.)
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala)
- Familiarity with ML libraries (Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Excellent presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
Bonus experience includes Databricks/Spark, ETL tools, enterprise software, and vertical expertise in FSI, Retail, or Manufacturing.
