Salary: USD 171,000 - 213,750 / annual
Redis is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to work with enterprise customers on pre-sales engineering and technical solution design. In this role, you will educate and collaborate with customers to create customized Redis-powered solutions for their specific business and database needs, helping them increase business value and overcome technical challenges.
You will drive proofs of concept, pilots, and evaluations, working hands-on with customers using Redis's in-memory database technology. You'll work closely with customer technical teams (architects, developers, PMOs, and C-level executives) to ensure the success of all customer engagements. Collaboration with the Sales team is critical—you'll develop effective account strategies, identify new opportunities, and expand business with existing accounts.
Key responsibilities include understanding and quantifying customer business needs and use cases, presenting Redis capabilities and technology in a professional manner that demonstrates business impact and competitive advantages, and using customer feedback to improve product materials and technical best practices. You'll also provide insights to Product Management and R&D teams based on customer interactions.
The ideal candidate is a good listener with a talent for creative problem-solving, able to tackle a wide variety of technical challenges pragmatically while keeping customer business objectives in focus. You should be a technology expert committed to delivering the best customer experience.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering (ideally database engineering) for enterprise software
- Hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux
- Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
- BS in Computer Science, BA, or equivalent work experience
- Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
