SambaNova Systems is seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager to lead product positioning, portfolio strategy, and sales enablement for SambaRack and SambaStack—the company's purpose-built AI infrastructure offerings. SambaRack is a turnkey, rack-level system built around SambaNova's RDU (Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit) chip, designed for large-scale AI inference with superior decode performance for agentic workloads, multi-turn agents, code generation, and long-running applications. SambaStack is the full-stack enterprise AI platform combining hardware and software for on-premises or dedicated cloud hosting deployments.
In this principal-level role, you will own the market-facing strategy for both products, translating technical differentiation into clear customer value propositions and equipping the go-to-market organization with positioning, messaging, launches, sales enablement, and competitive guidance. You will partner closely with Technical Product Marketing, Account Executives, and Field Marketing to develop differentiated messaging for diverse audiences including enterprise AI teams, infrastructure leaders, data center operators, inference providers, sovereign AI initiatives, and technical evaluators.
Key responsibilities include: defining positioning, messaging, value propositions, personas, and competitive differentiation; building the portfolio story connecting hardware, infrastructure, software, and deployment flexibility; leading go-to-market strategy and launch planning across Product, Engineering, Sales, Communications, and Design; developing high-quality sales enablement (pitch decks, battlecards, objection handling, competitive plays); creating market-facing content (product briefs, web copy, blogs, thought leadership); conducting market, customer, and competitive research; building customer proof points and use cases; establishing messaging governance frameworks; and defining success metrics for launches and enablement adoption.
You will operate independently in a fast-moving environment, prioritize high-leverage work, and bring structure to ambiguity. You will influence executive leaders and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority, moving fluidly from strategic market insight to hands-on creation of positioning, narratives, and enablement materials.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of B2B product marketing, product strategy, technical product marketing, or closely related role, including ownership of complex enterprise technology portfolios
- Deep fluency in AI infrastructure, enterprise AI, semiconductors, data center systems, cloud platforms, or another technically complex market
- Track record of creating differentiated positioning for integrated hardware-software products and translating it into launches, sales enablement, content, and measurable go-to-market outcomes
- Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and narrative-development skills across executive, business, field, and technical audiences
- Strong strategic judgment paired with willingness to execute hands-on (building decks, writing one-pagers, developing battlecards, editing web pages, delivering training)
- Experience influencing executive leaders and coordinating Product, Engineering, Technical Product Marketing, Account Executives, Field Marketing, Communications, Design, and partner stakeholders without direct authority
- Ability to operate independently, prioritize high-leverage work, and bring structure to ambiguity in fast-moving environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience marketing AI inference platforms, accelerator systems, turnkey data center products, full-stack enterprise platforms, or cloud infrastructure
- Experience developing product and portfolio strategy across related hardware and software offerings
- Experience building sales enablement programs with measurable adoption, field readiness, and business impact
- Familiarity with enterprise buyers, infrastructure decision-makers, technical evaluators, inference providers, partner ecosystems, and managed-service use cases
- Experience leading category creation, major product launch, competitive repositioning, or portfolio-wide messaging transformation
- Portfolio of high-quality positioning, launch, enablement, or thought-leadership work
