Atlassian is seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the Talent vertical within Strategy Collection, the strategic planning layer of the Atlassian System of Work. Strategy Collection connects organizational strategy to execution, and this role will define and deliver talent experiences that help companies attract, grow, support, and retain talent while linking talent decisions to business outcomes.
You will own the Talent product vision and roadmap, translating strategic direction into prioritized features, experiments, and shipped customer value. Key responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing Talent features, driving productization of capabilities around skills, AI usage, and integrations, and leveraging AI to add measurable value. You'll partner across AI Platform, Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver scalable, differentiated capabilities. You'll define success metrics and drive both business and customer outcomes.
This is a highly strategic, cross-functional role with significant executive visibility, reporting directly to the Head of Product for Strategy Collection. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of product management experience, including SaaS PM in 0-1 environments, with demonstrated expertise in GenAI systems (LLMs, RAG, prompt design, evaluation frameworks). You should have direct experience building and shipping SaaS features, ability to prototype with AI tools (Replit, Claude Code, etc.), and strong enterprise SaaS background operating at strategic, multi-product scope. Exceptional cross-functional leadership, executive communication skills, and the ability to influence without formal authority are essential. Technical fluency to work deeply with engineering and ML teams, plus the ability to identify customer problems, size opportunities, and drive teams from ambiguity to execution are critical. Experience in Talent, HR Tech, recruiting, employee experience, workforce planning, or adjacent domains is a strong plus.
Atlassian values open collaboration, clear thinking, and practical innovation. The company is building the future of work with a strong point of view on how people, teams, and AI can work better together, investing in thoughtful, trustworthy AI experiences that improve decisions and reduce friction without sacrificing transparency or control.
