AlphaSense is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the company's security and identity platform strategy and execution. This role owns the critical infrastructure that ensures AlphaSense meets enterprise security requirements: user authentication, entitlements and authorization, and protection of sensitive customer content.
You will partner across engineering, product security, and executive leadership to build offerings that satisfy the most demanding regulated enterprises while keeping AlphaSense at the forefront of information security. Key responsibilities include:
- Define and execute the roadmap for identity and access platform improvements, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, JWT, RBAC/ABAC, and MFA capabilities
- Build the platform and UX for enterprise user provisioning through SCIM and directory integration, enabling efficient onboarding at scale
- Drive centralized audit logging, least-privilege access controls, and organization-isolation guarantees that withstand scrutiny from security-conscious enterprises
- Own product direction for secure deployment, including data isolation, AI processing, and regional hosting requirements
- Align senior stakeholders and manage complex cross-functional projects with executive presence and hands-on builder mentality
You combine enterprise rigor with startup agency—you've delivered identity and access capabilities at enterprise scale from early stages, not just following mature playbooks. You're fluent in identity and access domains, comfortable with platforms like Auth0 and Okta, and deeply understand federated identity models. You have high customer empathy and stay close to what regulated enterprises actually need. You're a pragmatic partner on risk, able to judge what security measures are truly necessary and push back on unnecessary requirements while holding firm on critical ones. You see security as a value driver and can position secure infrastructure as a revenue generator rather than a cost center.
