Salary: USD 195,000 - 391,000 / annual
Nutanix is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the product strategy and execution of Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2), the company's hybrid cloud platform offering. In this role, you will define and execute the roadmap for delivering the Nutanix Cloud Platform across public cloud, data center, and edge environments in a unified manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute product strategy for NC2 portfolio, ensuring completeness and simplicity
- Drive integration across Nutanix's product portfolio (compute, storage, networking, Files, Database Services)
- Define deployment and management workflows (install, upgrade, monitoring, scaling) integrated with hyperscaler tooling
- Conduct regular customer outreach to gather and synthesize feedback into prioritized requirements
- Author detailed market requirements documents (MRDs) and product requirement documents (PRDs)
- Lead technical discussions with cloud partners and enterprise customers
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across product management, engineering, program management, support, and marketing
- Track and report on key performance indicators and business outcomes
- Provide customer advocacy, field support, and enablement to drive adoption and satisfaction
- Create internal and external-facing collateral to promote NC2 and hybrid cloud messaging
You will report to the Director of Product Management and work in a hybrid capacity, with expectations to be onsite in San Jose a minimum of 3 days per week. The role involves collaboration with geographically distributed teams, public cloud partners, and enterprise customers.
Required qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field (MBA a plus)
- 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise datacenter products, virtualization, IaaS, or cloud computing
- Experience with enterprise-class customers and infrastructure software (storage, network, compute)
- Strong experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, build, and launch successful products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to present to C-level executives
- Proven ability to influence geographically distributed cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and analytical thinking
- High energy, ownership mindset, and bias for action
