Socure is building identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy, verifying identities in real time and preventing fraud. The company is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the development and scaling of emerging products across fraud, identity, and payments, with initial focus on Account Intelligence.
In this role, you will define and drive the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for Account Intelligence, starting with bank account status and ownership verification, then expanding into additional payment instruments and consortium-powered products. You'll identify and lead new product opportunities from early customer discovery through launch, adoption, and scale.
Key responsibilities include developing deep understanding of customer workflows and pain points to shape product priorities; partnering closely with Engineering and Data Science to translate customer and business needs into clear requirements and scalable solutions; leading cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Finance, Legal, Privacy, and Operations; conducting market and competitive research to identify trends and opportunities; owning business performance including adoption, pricing, costs, revenue, and profitability; and communicating complex product and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
You should bring 10+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex products or portfolios. Essential qualifications include experience defining multi-year product strategies, leading products from early-stage development through commercialization and scale, strong customer orientation with direct relationship-building skills, and experience working with Engineering and Data Science on data-intensive, API, platform, or AI/ML-powered products. Strong analytical and financial acumen, proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority, and excellent communication skills are required.
Preferred experience includes payments, bank-account verification, fraud, identity, risk, fintech, or financial services; building products combining proprietary, partner, or consortium data; familiarity with network effects and data partnerships; international product launches; and SQL or analytics tools proficiency. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
