Narvar is hiring a Principal Product Manager to build Merchant Experiences, the operating system for how 1,500+ enterprise retailers configure, automate, and extract value from Narvar's post-purchase platform. This is a foundational platform role where you'll define much of the architecture, product strategy, and experience from the ground up—acting as an internal founder. You'll own six core areas: (1) Platform vision and architecture—defining the unified merchant experience platform and shared services that every other Narvar product team builds on; (2) Onboarding and self-service—shifting high-touch merchant onboarding into clean, self-service experiences; (3) AI agents and workflow automation—shipping AI-powered agents that improve merchant productivity; (4) Permissions, entitlements, and shared services—handling complex constraints like localization and role-based access; (5) Hands-on building and shipping—breaking problems into small releases, writing specs, prototyping, and iterating with merchants; (6) Cross-team adoption—partnering across product teams to drive adoption of platform capabilities without relying on authority. In your first year, you'll launch the first generation of the unified platform, get multiple product teams adopting shared capabilities, cut merchant onboarding effort through self-service, ship AI-powered workflows, and establish the foundation for Narvar's next generation of merchant experiences. You should have 8+ years in product management at high-scale B2B2C SaaS companies, owning complex products end-to-end as an individual contributor. You're a systems-minded builder with experience scaling platform or shared-services products, a strong bias toward shipping, and product-led growth instincts around onboarding, activation, and in-product engagement. You have sharp UX judgment grounded in research, can align many teams without authority, and are technically fluent—comfortable discussing API schemas, services, and data models with engineers. 4+ years in e-commerce or adjacent markets is expected, along with comfort handling complex constraints like localization. Bonus: experience building LLM or agent-powered features, scaling product-led growth in enterprise, or background in B2B/B2B2C retail technology. Narvar serves 1,500+ enterprise retailers including GameStop, Sonos, and Nike, with hubs in San Francisco, London, and Bangalore. The role is fully remote but requires availability within EST/EDT or PDT/PST hours and location in Canada.
