Komodo Health is building the Healthcare Map, the industry's largest and most complete view of the U.S. healthcare system by combining de-identified real-world patient data with innovative algorithms and clinical expertise. The company's mission is to reduce the global burden of disease through smarter use of data. You will define and build the next generation of Komodo's AI-augmented product suite. This is a principal-level individual contributor role where you own the strategic thesis for what customers touch, build the first versions yourself using AI tools and platform primitives, and then scale validated concepts with engineering teams. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and defend a thesis for the next-generation product suite, grounded in deep customer research and working software - Build first versions of new AI products yourself, then lead small pods (4 or fewer) from prototype to general availability - Deploy products into customer environments, working within contracting cycles and treating deployment as part of product design - Retire or consolidate legacy solutions as new products land, maintaining customer retention - Set architectural and build patterns that other product teams adopt You will be measured on shipping products with measurable revenue, adoption, or retention impact within 12 months, and on reducing the existing product suite's complexity. The role requires 9+ years of product experience, including at least one product you conceived and shipped that generates real revenue today. You must be comfortable building first versions yourself (not just managing), reason deeply about AI product mechanics (context, grounding, evals, agents, cost), and have forward-deployed instinct working inside customer environments. Healthcare or regulated data experience is a plus but not required.
