LeanData is seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the vision and execution of an agentic product serving RevOps and marketing operations leaders. This is a senior individual contributor role—not a people management position—where you will drive product strategy, design, and launch for an AI agent product operating within the Salesforce ecosystem and other systems of record.
You will own the complete product lifecycle: setting direction on what ships and in what order, taking ambiguous problems and resolving product behavior and interaction models holistically, and building prototypes that make abstract ideas concrete and arguable. You'll work directly with RevOps and marketing ops leaders in their environments to understand their real challenges and translate those into solutions. You'll drive design partner interactions to iterate the product based on live feedback.
A critical part of this role is defining what good looks like for the agents themselves. You will define correct agent behavior, build golden evaluation sets, and write meaningful evals yourself. You'll read traces to build intuition for how agents behave on live work—not just test cases—and when things go wrong, you'll characterize failures (prompt problem, tool problem, context problem, or product problem). This requires deep technical judgment about tool calls, context, retrieval, latency, and cost as product decisions.
You'll also design for trust: defining permissions and approvals that govern what the agent does autonomously versus what requires human approval, designing recovery paths for failed tool calls and uncertain agent decisions, and building audit trails so RevOps leaders can prove what the agent did and why. You'll navigate the complexity of operating alongside Salesforce and other data systems where records live and actions land.
This is not a platform role building shared services for other teams, not a people management role, and not forward-deployed solutions work. You won't be training models or doing ML engineering—this is pure product leadership on an agentic system.
REQUIREMENTS
Required:
• 7–8+ years in product management, owning products end to end
• At least one agentic product you took to launch (production, not prototype or internal pilot or LLM feature)
• You wrote evals yourself: built suites, set pass criteria, debugged failures by reading traces; you understand the gap between eval theory and practice
• Depth to reason about tool calls, context, retrieval, latency, and cost as product decisions; can hold your own with senior engineers
• Real UX judgment with opinions you can defend past the first objection
• Comfort working without scaffolding: no eval harness, research cadence, or instrumentation waiting; you build what you need and move
• Genuine curiosity about B2B go-to-market operations (not a RevOps expert day one, but energized to learn the domain deeply)
Preferred:
• 0→1 product experience: taking a concept to revenue in B2B SaaS
• Salesforce ecosystem experience or deep knowledge of systems of record where governance and permissions are non-negotiable
