Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Principal Product Advisor to help shape product integration strategy across hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). This is a senior individual contributor role within the Product Management Alliances team, reporting to leadership and operating as a recognized technical authority both internally and with partner organizations.
You will own multi-year architectural roadmap engagements across cloud platforms, identifying and advocating for integrations that matter strategically. You'll represent Veeam's perspective in partnership evolution, influence roadmap decisions across product lines and engineering teams, and resolve competing priorities using deep platform expertise. A key responsibility is mentoring and developing other Product Advisors and Product Managers, raising the bar for technical and strategic capability across the team.
You'll navigate ambiguous problem spaces, provide well-reasoned recommendations with conviction, and serve as a senior escalation point for complex integration scenarios and critical customer engagements. You'll also contribute to industry events and partner conversations, sharing deep technical expertise in cloud architecture and integration, and champion architectural standards across the organization.
Required: 12+ years in product management, technical alliances, or cloud architecture with increasing scope and strategic ownership. You need a strong, well-defended point of view on cloud integration strategy backed by direct experience architecting solutions in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. Demonstrated ability to lead strategy (not just influence), mentoring track record, and in-depth knowledge of cloud-based data protection, storage technologies, APIs, SaaS architectures, and AI-driven integrations are essential. Exceptional executive presence with experience influencing VP- and C-level stakeholders internally and at partners, plus ability to deliver high-visibility technical presentations. Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent). Willingness to travel 5-7 weeks annually.
Veeam offers unlimited PTO, 12 paid holidays plus 4 VeeaMe Days, 8-16 weeks paid parental leave, medical/dental/vision from day one, mental health support, 401(k) matching, fertility/adoption support, 24/7 virtual vet care, legal services, and robust learning opportunities including LinkedIn Learning and O'Reilly access.
