Celonis, a global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology, is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to design transformative solution architectures for enterprise customers. This high-impact role combines deep technical expertise with executive presence, requiring you to confidently present to C-level executives and translate their strategic goals into actionable technical plans. You will lead architecture, data, and cloud strategy for the company's largest client accounts, leveraging expertise in enterprise modernization and capability mapping. Your responsibilities include engaging with customer C-level executives to align their strategic objectives with Celonis technical strategy, driving innovation through emerging technologies like Agentic AI, and serving as a bridge between Celonis product and engineering teams and client teams. Key responsibilities include assessing IT landscape maturity of the customer base, participating in pre-sales and post-sales phases with customer architecture and security teams, coaching Celonis consulting teams and ecosystem partners on technical implementation, developing reusable assets for consulting teams, and creating customer-facing position papers and thought leadership presentations on architecture and innovation. You will need 10-15 years of relevant experience as a software vendor architect, CTO at a top consulting firm, or enterprise architect at a customer organization. Required qualifications include proven strategic thinking ability, excellent communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts to executives, demonstrated experience in capability mapping and enterprise modernization, strong understanding of Agentic AI, and deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions, ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics, ServiceNow), cybersecurity fundamentals, and API ecosystems. Additional technical requirements include strong data architecture background, integration patterns expertise, development experience with data-related languages (SQL, Python), system integration focus, and the ability to code or assemble demos of architectures you design. An MSc in Computer Science or equivalent IT-related degree is required. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages (Spanish, German, French, Italian) are advantageous. Preferred qualifications include Celonis certifications, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, ESB/ETL certifications, and TOGAF/Zachman certification.
